In Memory of Maureen Schulz

Maureen Meintzer Schulz, 79, of High Point, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at her home with her husband, Tom, at her side. In 1987, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Maureen’s diagnosis gradually brought an end to some of the things that she enjoyed, but it also opened new doors for her.  In 1990, she went to the White House to see the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act and she sat on the board of the Independent Living Center in Winchester.  Maureen also found a new joy in writing and in 1992, her article, “Finding Strength In Weakness” was published in The Breakthrough Intercessor Magazine.
