Receiving Your Rider Packet
You must receive and wear the contents of your rider packet (rider bib, helmet and bike decals, wristband) to participate in the ride.
You cannot receive your rider bib until you have reached the $300 fundraising minimum per person.
If you reach the $300 fundraising minimum after Thursday, August 26th, please be prepared to show proof (your fundraising page on your phone) as it may not be updated on the printed lists that we will have on ride weekend.
You can receive your rider packet on:
- Saturday, August 28th from 3 to 6pm
- Sunday, August 29th during your venue access window by visiting our Customer Service tent.
Both Packet Pickup opportunities will take place at our host venue of Woodgrove Highschool in Purcellville, VA. To limit crowding at the ride, please pick up your packet or have someone pick it up for you on Saturday if possible.
*Venue Access Windows
To help with physical distancing at the ride, all participants will get an email to sign up for a Venue Access Window for when to arrive on ride morning. Once your window has begun, you have 30 minutes to go through the Mandatory Health Screen Area, use the restroom, grab some water and a snack, and get on the road.
Mandatory Health Screen
All event attendees must complete and pass a pre-event health screening questionnaire to gain access to the event. This questionnaire will be emailed to everyone 48 hours before the ride and you will receive a confirmation email once you pass the questionnaire.
Upon arriving on ride morning, everyone must visit the Health Screen tent, show they passed the questionnaire, and receive their health screen wristband to enter the site. Note: This is not the same wristband you will receive in your rider packet. You must receive and wear both wristbands.
Participants can also receive their health screen wristband at Saturday’s Packet Pickup. This will allow participants to skip the health screen line when arriving on ride morning. For those who do not have smart phones, we will have the questionnaire printed out that you can read and agree to so you can gain access to the site.
Crossing the Finish Line
Once you cross the finish line, you will be provided Lunch, an event t-shirt, and any other Top Fundraiser and/or I Ride With MS jerseys/items you have yet to receive (for those that qualify).
Upon crossing the finish line and receiving your meal and other items, we ask all participants to please depart the event area in a timely manner to help limit crowding.
We appreciate you all working with us to help make this a safe and fun event for everyone! Thank you again for your incredible support of the National MS Society and our vision of a world free of MS.
