We are so excited to have you join us for the 2021 Bike MS: Tour to Tanglewood ride! We hope you are as excited as we are to ride together to end Multiple Sclerosis for good!
Routes & Maps
As you are getting ready to ride, check out the options you have for your Bike MS challenge.
Bike MS: Tour to Tanglewood 2021 will feature route distance options of 20, 45, 65, and 100 miles each day. Rest stops will be offered on route every 10-15 miles and SAG supported. Bike mechanics will also be available for repair assistance at rest stops.

Connect with us (for FREE!) on RideWithGPS.com and download route maps on your phone to have turn by turn directions for ride weekend (routes are linked below for the 2021 event).
The option to print maps and cue sheets is available on our Ride with GPS link above. Cue sheets for specific routes will be linked below at a later date and available at pickup locations during ride weekend. To avoid getting lost on the course, follow all route signage.

Complete challenges and mileage goals as you train and take on the open road.
Your training rides bring you out into your community and past some scenic destinations and we want to see them too!
Snap a selfie at a designated landmark and share it with your fellow MS cyclists using our submission form. Complete all 4 challenges by your event day and get a Bike MS-branded tire tool and be entered into a grand prize drawing for one of two Garmin Edge 130s. Flats happen—now you’ll be prepared!
Complete the weekly mileage goals—or ride even more!—to rack up badges along the way.

Team Captain (Virtual) Meetings
Bike MS: Tour to Tanglewood staff will be hosting a series of Virtual Team Captain Meetings to help keep you connected and apprised throughout the season. Receive firsthand important ride updates and build excitement with your fellow cyclists for your upcoming Bike MS ride!
Team Captain Meetup #1 – Thursday, July 15th from 6:00pm-7:00pm
Topics include: successful recruitment and fundraising strategies, tips & tricks to using our new and improved fundraising platform, highlight work the National MS Society is doing to move us closer to a cure, mission moment from a person living with MS
Team Captain Meetup #2 – Wednesday, August 18th from 6:00pm-7:00pm
Topics include: Covid-19 safety protocol and event restrictions, event weekend experience, logistical information, cycling safety, Bike MS awards
All Participant (Virtual) Meetings
Bike MS Safety Clinic – Wednesday, September 1st from 6:00pm-7:00pm
Topics include: staying safe at Bike MS, cycling safety protocol, route support information, Bike MS inspections, mandatory safety items, packing list, and Covid-19 safety protocol and event restrictions
Bike MS Get Ready for Event Weekend Webinar – Dates TBD

Both team(s) and an individual participant can win BIG during this year’s fundraising weeks.
- Fundraising Week #1: Monday, July 19 - Sunday, July 25
- Fundraising Week #2: Monday, August 23 - Sunday, August 29
Who: Winners for each fundraising week will include both an individual (team member or non-team member) and the team(s) with most money raised online (total dollars) during this time.
Team winners will be determined based on the following two divisions (meaning two teams can win during each fundraising week):
- Teams with more than 15 members at the start of the fundraising week
- Teams with less than 15 members at the start of the fundraising week
- Individual Prize: Bike MS Prize Pack (Bike MS Swag and Gift Card from our partners at Fathead)
- Team Prize(s): Upgraded Team Experience of their choice (team tent upgrades, team porta potty at a rest stop of their choice, dedicated packet pick-up for their team)

Meals & Support
Bike MS is an extraordinary ride no matter where you are! Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…
Each route includes fully-stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy the volunteers. Bike mechanics and support and gear (SAG) vehicles will also be on the route to assist you.
After the ride, we will have plenty of food at the finish line.
