Louis J. Rogers
Founder and CEO, Capital SquareLouis J. Rogers is the founder and chief executive officer of Capital Square and its related entities. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Rogers Realty Advisors, LLC. Prior to founding Capital Square, he served as managing director of private programs at a national real estate sponsor and was the former chief executive officer of its FINRA-licensed broker-dealer.
Mr. Rogers was a founding member of a national real estate investment sponsor in 1998, where he ultimately served as president and sat on the board of directors until 2007. Under his leadership, the company became the nation’s largest tenant-in-common (TIC) sponsor, which syndicated more than $5 billion of real estate in over 100 offerings, including TICs, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate funds. Prior to that, he was a partner with the Hirschler Fleischer law firm in Richmond, Virginia from 1987-2004. During his tenure at Hirschler Fleischer, he founded and led the firm’s Real Estate Securities Practice Group. Mr. Rogers was responsible for billions of dollars of TIC, REIT and fund offerings as an attorney and executive officer.
Mr. Rogers earned a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University in 1979, graduating with the highest honors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors as a 1981 graduate of Oxford University. He received a Juris Doctor degree in 1984 from the University of Virginia School of Law. He continued at Oxford University and graduated in 1985 with a Master of Arts in Jurisprudence.
Mr. Rogers is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, and lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law. In 2017, he was a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Mid-Atlantic. In 2020, he was awarded Real Estate Forum's Best Bosses by GlobeSt. In 2020, 2021 and 2022, he is listed as one of the most powerful and influential leaders on the Virginia 500 Power List by Virginia Business.

Myla Goldman, MD, MSc
VCU HealthDr. Myla Goldman is a physician, scientist and faculty mentor in the Department of Neurology at VCU. She is Chair of the Division of Neuroimmunology that includes Multiple Sclerosis (MS) & Related Disorders and Headache Program. She is the director of the MS Fellowship Program and supported by a National Multiple Sclerosis Society Institutional Fellowship Training Grant.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Leigh University, she went on to receive her Doctorate from Rush Medical College in 1999. She completed training in neurology at the University of Virginia in 2003. She completed her MS-Neuroimmunology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2006 while concurrently earning a master's degree in clinical research from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Goldman is a recognized expert and dedicated physician in her field and has been listed among the Best Doctors in the US every year since 2009. Dr. Goldman’s research focuses on outcome measure development and co-morbid disease in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She has received funding from both NIH and the National MS Society for her research and has more than 50 peer reviewed publications.
She is an internationally recognized clinical researcher and outcomes expert, and has served on steering committees for 10 companies in Phase 2 and 3 drug development for MS therapeutics. She is a recognized expert in her field and has been invited to give more than 90 lectures, including at the American Academy of Neurology and American Neurological Association meetings. She has served as an MS topic expert for numerous national and international committees and meetings.
Dr. Goldman serves as the Vice Chair of Faculty Development in the Department of Neurology at VCU. She has mentored across the educational continuum including undergraduate, graduate, medical student, resident, fellows, and early career faculty.
When she isn’t caring for patients, conducting research or guiding learners, Dr. Goldman enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.
