Walk Details

9:00am – Site opens for Walk MS: Staten Island! Listen to our live DJ and stop by the various tents and displays that are part of Walk MS:

• Registration Area:
  • If you have not already registered online, please stop here to register. Be on the lookout for our QR codes to easily register from your mobile device.
  • If you need to turn in donations, please visit the Registration Area.
• T-Shirt Area:
  • Anyone raising $100+ prior to event-day, can go directly to our T-shirt Area to pick up your commemorative T-shirt.
  • If you’d like to hand in donations to qualify for a T-shirt, please hand in your donations first at the Registration Area and you will receive a ticket to redeem at the T-Shirt Area.
• Living With MS Area: those who have identified as Living with MS are invited to this area to pick-up a Living with MS bandana and to learn more about resources and services.
• VIP Area: our amazing Gold & Silver VIP’s (those raising $500+) are invited to stop by the VIP area to connect with staff, pick-up credentials, and a VIP treat.
• Food Area: grab-and-go with bottled water and assorted snacks. There is no single-serve coffee.
• Vendor Village: visit a variety of vendors including our amazing sponsors!
• Mission Area: The Mission Area provides information about the work of the National MS Society – from education to advocacy to research.

9:40am – Opening Program.

10:00am - Routes open to participants (1 mile and 3 mile route options).  

12:00pm – Routes Close.

Our 1 mile and 3 mile route options are available for you to view.

Street parking is also available in and around Clove Lakes Park.

 

Directions:

From the Verazzana-Narrows bridge:

Take I-278 West (Staten Island Expwy) to Exit 13A, Clove Road

Take Clove Road 1 mile. The parking lot is on your left, just past the entrance to Clove Lakes Park.

 

From New Jersey:

Take the Goethals Bridge (I278 East)

Take Exit 12 off I 278 (Staten Island Expwy)

Make a left onto Slosson Ave. for one mile.

Make a right onto Martling Ave.

Make a right onto Clove Road

Entrance will be on your right.

 

From the Staten Island Ferry (public transit)

Walk from the ferry terminal to Bay St/Nick Laporte Pl.

Take the S62 bus (Travis vis Victory) 15 stops

Exit at Victory Blvd/Clove Road

Walk into park from the bus stop.

Walk MS runs special It’s Go Time weeks – which you’ll find out via email and social media – where you’ll be given a challenge to complete to earn Walk MS points. Stay tuned to see what challenge is in store for you!

At Walk MS, we believe no one should face MS alone – that’s why teams are so important. And the bigger the team, the better.

MS doesn't stop because of rain, and neither do we. Walk MS is a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather – such as thunderstorms – you will be notified via email.
