2023 marks the 40th Annual Bike MS: Dat’s How We Roll Ride! It’s going to a party you don’t want to miss as we commemorate this major milestone and celebrate the progress we’ve achieved together over the last 40 years.
Friday, March 24, 2023
5 pm – 8 pm: Packet Pick Up at Holiday Inn in Hammond. Walk-on registration/packet pick up.

Saturday, March 25, 2023
6 am: Site opens at SLU; on-site packet pick up and breakfast begin (see event menu for full details)
7:30 am: Opening announcements at start line
8 am: On-site packet pick up and breakfast end
8 am: Day 1 of Bike MS – you must be on the road by 8:30 am and you must be finished by 4 pm
8:30 am: SLU site closes and all riders must be on route
10:00 am: Finish line and bike compound open at Percy Quin
10:00 am: Park shuttle service begins (local park traffic only)
11:30 am: Beer service begins at Percy Quin and VIP tent opens
11:30 am – 4 pm: Lunch service at Percy Quin (see event menu for full details)
2:00 pm: Hotel shuttle service begins
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm: VIP social in the VIP tent. A part you won’t want to miss! Spend time making memories with your Bike MS staff and fellow Bike MSers.
4:30 pm: Post ride ceremony and awards at the main stage. Celebrating years of pedaling for progress together!
5:30 pm: Dinner service at Percy Quin (see event menu for full details)
7 pm: Beer service ends
7 pm: One day rider shuttle service leaves for Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond – pick up your rider medal as you step on to the bus (ONE TRIP ONLY)
7:30 pm: Last hotel shuttle leaves Percy Quin

Pre-Ride Logistics Meeting:
Friends from all over! Join us for a virtual logistics meeting. We’ll talk 40th annual ride celebrations, routes, schedule, menus, overnight accommodations and everything in between.

Fundraising Week Information:
We’ll have two fundraising challenges to incentivize fundraising. The challenge is the same for both: Raise the most money online during the week. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Individual, Team (2-14 members), and Team (15+ members). Mark your calendar and work with your team and donors to take your shot at winning! Prizes for each category and week are outlined below.
Fundraising Challenge #1: January 16-22, 2023
INDIVIDUAL PRIZE: Invitation to the VIP tent at Percy Quin + a special Bike MS swag item.
TEAM PRIZE (for both categories): Priority placement in the staggered start line up at SLU + Team tent and ice chest of drinks at Percy Quin.
Fundraising Challenge #2: February 6-19, 2023
INDIVIDUAL PRIZE: Hotel room at the Hampton Inn in McComb
TEAM PRIZE (2-14 members): Team housing at Percy Quin (Cottage)
TEAM PRIZE (15+ members): Team housing at Percy Quin (Golf Villa)

Your Bike MS packet contains important items including your rider bib, event details and sponsor giveaways. In order to pick up your packet, you must meet the $275 fundraising minimum and have a completed waiver on file. If you registered online, then you completed a waiver during the registration process.

Can’t attend one of the scheduled pick up times? Packet Pick Up will also be available at the start line in Hammond, LA on Saturday, March 25th from 6 am – 8 am.
Percy Quin State Park is the overnight location for Bike MS: Dat’s How We Roll. The park is on hold for our event so teams and/or individuals can call Percy Quin, 601-684-3938, to make a reservation – tell them you’re with Bike MS.
There are also several hotels in McComb that you can contact to reserve a room. Full list we provide shuttle service to coming soon!

Transportation
Shuttle buses will be provided to transport you to/from your hotel accommodations in McComb or to your accommodations within the park. NOTE: Buses will only be going to hotels on the hotel list. There will also be a bus back to Hammond at 7 p.m. Saturday and after the start on Sunday (approximately 8:30 a.m.).
Parking will be available at the University Center at Southeastern Louisiana University. Participants can park their vehicles for the weekend. There is limited parking at Percy Quin State Park for participants/visitors. Everyone will be directed to the dam to park and will need to shuttle to the start line. There are some accessible parking spots available by the start line for those with the necessary decals.
Bike MS is an extraordinary ride no matter where you are! Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…
Each route includes fully-stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy the volunteers. Bike mechanics and support and gear (SAG) vehicles will also be on the route to assist you.
After the ride, we will have plenty of food at the finish line.

- Breakfast (at SLU)– Breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg and cheese), fruit and coffee
- Lunch (on route at Chesbrough) – Turkey & swiss and ham & american cheese sandwiches (vegetarian & gluten free options available upon request)
- Post Ride Meal (at PQ) – Red beans & rice and cornbread muffins
- Dinner (at PQ) – Pasta with red meat sauce & alfredo (gluten free option available at request), garden salad with assorted dressings, bread & butter and cookies & brownies
SUNDAY
- Breakfast (at PQ)- Breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg and cheese), fruit and coffee
- Lunch (on route at Chesbrough)- Mashed potato bar with butter, cheese, bacon bits, green onion and sour cream
- Post Ride Meal (at SLU)- Jambalaya (vegetarian and gluten free options available upon request), garden salad with assorted dressing, rolls with butter
