Honoring Samantha Zapoleon
Samantha Zapoleon has seemingly always been a volunteer, donor and friend of the National MS Society. Indeed, it is the family’s long history with the MS Society that distinguishes them amongst the others. Samantha's mother was honored at the MS Gala 25 years ago and Jessy, Samantha’s daughter, has co-captained one of the top Walk MS Teams in the country!
Samantha’s mother, Veronique, “Ronnie”, was diagnosed with MS at age 18, and Samantha has lived her entire life helping her mother overcome the challenges of MS, whether emotional or logistical, Samantha is committed to helping her mother live a near-normal life.
Samantha is the Managing Director at Rockefeller Capital Management, one of the top financial firms in the industry. It’s Ronnie’s determination, strength and resilience that has inspired Samantha to be a powerful female in business and she credits her mother with her success.
Samantha is steadfast in her commitment to help find a cure for this life altering unpredictable disease that affects 2.3 million people globally. Because of Ronnie’s legacy of giving back and Samantha’s generous philanthropy, Samantha Zapoleon will be named the first “Second- Generation Honoree” and will be presented with the Hope Award, the Society’s highest honor, at the MS Gala on January 20, 2023.
