Volunteers Make Walk MS® Possible
From setting up the event to cheering at the Finish Line, Walk MS® would not be possible without volunteers. When you volunteer, you help Walk MS® run smoothly, provide support and make a difference for the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the U.S.

Anyone Can Volunteer
There’s a place for you at Walk MS®! Families, corporate groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. We are always looking for youth clubs, corporate and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during and after our events.
What’s Included
All volunteers get a special T-shirt. After you register, your local Walk MS® staff will work with you to find a volunteer position that’s best for you!
Volunteer Role
Volunteers help with all aspects of the event, including:
- Set up and/or tear down
- Registration
- Running stops
- Cheering at the finish line
- Route support
Some volunteer positions require specialized skills, a criminal and/or DMV background check and driving or heavy lifting. Contact us for more details.
Fundraising as a Volunteer
Volunteers are some of our most powerful fundraisers and have access to the same great fundraising tools as Walk MS® participants. Simply let us know that you’re interested in fundraising when you register, and we’ll get you set up with everything you need for success!
