Our goal—a world free of MS.

Run a Myelin My Shoes (RAMMS) is a team of MS Warrior and MS Supporters. We are all affected by Multiple Sclerosis in one way or another and it is our mission to show the world it is possible to exercise and remain active, despite a disease that compromises mobility. We meet once a year at a running/walking event where we spread awareness of the disease and encourage others with MS to do what they can and never give up! We also have a robust virtual team that creates their own events all around the world.

In 2018, 55 of us met at the Detroit Marathon, Half and 5K, plus another 41 were virtual teammates from all seven continents including Antarctica! The team tripled in 2019 with 162 meeting in Richmond, Virginia and 125 running virtually. In 2020, we were supposed to meet in Indianapolis but because of the pandemic, we were all-virtual. We still managed to grow to 375 teammates representing 42 states and 19 countries.

The fourth annual team event will be at the Indianapolis Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K on November 6, 2021. In addition, we will again have our worldwide virtual team.
