Janelle Campbell, age 78, peacefully passed on December 23, 2020. Born in Nashville on May 27, 1942, Janelle moved to Albuquerque in the late 1960’s. She gave birth to both her children and spent the rest of her life in this city she loved.

Janelle was the founder, owner and operator of Creative Learning Center, a tutoring and college prep service. Her second husband, Jack Oberst, was a fellow educator and partner in the business for many years, and her marriage with him from 1990 until his death in 2003 was full of happiness and adventure.

Janelle is survived by her son, Jim Suttle, founding pastor of Calvary Chapel of Roswell, New Mexico and daughter Nicole Taylor, a childbirth educator living abroad in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Between them, Janelle had six grandchildren and one great grandson. She also leaves behind her sister Darlene Scott of Charleston, SC and her brother James Campbell of Columbus, GA.

Janelle joyfully fought a lifelong battle with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease she contracted in her early 20’s. Donations in her honor are greatly appreciated to continue her fight.

A celebration of her life will be held on Zoom at 10:00 am on Saturday January 23, 2021.

Thank you for your support! Together we can make a difference.
