Joan Myers Memorial

Joan was diagnosed with MS about 30 years ago, and retired from teaching in 1999. She was able to enjoy a full and beautiful life with her family and traveled extensively with Dad over the years. Her mobility started to decline rapidly a few years ago, and most recently, she was admitted to the Haxtun Nursing Home in October of 2021.  Unfortunately, Joan never regained strength like we had hoped and she passed peacefully on February 6th, 2022

Joan has donated her body to science in hopes of helping to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Any memorial donations received by the family will be sent to the National MS Foundation in her name.
