Event Bike MS: Passport Program| National MS Society

Are you ready to travel? The Bike MS Passport Rider Program provides cyclists with the unique opportunity to see the open farmlands of the Midwest, ride through a traffic-free Manhattan, take in the views of the California coast, explore the rocky shores of Maine and more.

When you become eligible for this program, you’ll be able to secure your spot at any Bike MS ride for the following year and receive extraordinary perks along the way.

As a Passport-Program-eligible cyclist, you'll have the opportunity to ride in any additional Bike MS events with no registration fee and no obligation to meet the fundraising requirement. Once you arrive and register at your ride, you’ll have a staff liaison to assist you with any questions, as well as access to VIP perks during the event.

You’ll also receive an exclusive Passport jersey and will have the option of two incredible prizes, as a part of our fundraising prize level, which you can find on the Recognition, Gifts & Incentives page.

Want a travel buddy to join you? This year we are implementing a fun new change — you get to bring a guest! Your companion also does not have to meet the fundraising requirement of this new event. You’ll receive more information on how they can sign up once you qualify.

Please note, you must cover all travel and lodging expenses when you participate in this experience.

So, you’ve raised $5,000 — what happens next? Follow these easy steps and your new Bike MS journey will start in no time:

First things first, now that you’ve qualified, reach out to your local staff and they’ll send you a registration code.
Once you have that code, find your next ride and register. You can register for as many rides as you’d like within 1 year of qualifying — it’s as seamless and easy as that!
At this point, staff from the ride you registered for will reach out and provide you with all the event details and will confirm jersey sizing and your mailing address. They will also be your concierge leading up to your event to answer any questions.
Now it’s time to book your transportation and lodging! Again, with the support of local staff from your new ride, you’ll figure out the best mode of travel and best place to lay your head*.
Once you have your travel plans in order, pack your bags and your Passport jersey as your ride date quickly approaches.
The final step in this process is the best one yet, have a great ride!
